The book describes my lifetime involvement in marine conservation, including campaigns against commercial whaling in Australia and internationally, the establishment of the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary, research into the phenomenon of solitary dolphins, dolphin culture, and the establishment of the Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary.
